Fognini, Cecchinato and Johnson were all title winners overnight and we will see more lower ranked players claim maximum points over the next fortnight in the absence of the top ranked players. This week we’re in Hamburg, Atlanta and Gstaad.

ATP Hamburg Tips

Leonardo Mayer v Albert Ramos-VinolasThey have met in some nail biters in the past and this one will be no exception. All 7 meetings have been on clay with Ramos-Vinolas holding a slight 4-3 edge. Four of the last five completed sets between them have gone to a tiebreaker including their meeting here twelve months ago. They will be going the distance again and that makes the Overs a great bet.
Best Bet: Over 21.5 games ($1.73)
Pablo Carreno-Busta v Florian MayerFlorian Mayer is coming off four consecutive losses and The Wolf says that playing in front of his home crowd will not end his losing streak. Carreno-Busta leads the H2H 2-0 with both victories coming on clay. Their last clash came at the Franch Open a little more than a year ago with the Spaniard running out a convincing 6-4 6-2 6-2 winner. He will cover the handicap with ease.
Best Bet: Carreno-Busta -4.5 ($1.73)

ATP Atlanta Tips

Alex de Minaur v Hubert HurkaczTwo names that we will see with regularity in the years to come and both have posted impressive results on the Challenger Tour. De Minaur won on grass in Nottingham with Hurkacz claiming his first Challenger title in Poznan on the red dirt. The young Aussie is well suited to fast surfaces and Atlanta is no exception. Names to have made the final here in recent years include Isner, Kyrgios, Anderson and Muller. De Minaur plays a very aggressive brand of tennis and his ability to move forward will see him capitalise on his good shots.
Best Bet: De Minaur WIN ($1.50)
