Genk v Red Bull Salzburg: More goals for Champions League entertainers

Red Bull Salzburg have seen goals at both ends in all of their Champions League games this season and Dan Fitch is banking on that trend continuing against Genk.

Red Bull Salzburg still dreaming of the last-16

A win for Red Bull Salzburg would see them go into the last match in Group E with a chance of making the knockout rounds.
That in itself would be something of an achievement for the Austrians and a demonstration of how competitive they have been in a difficult group. They kicked off their campaign with a stunning 6-2 win over Genk and added to their points total in their last Champions League match with a valuable away draw at Napoli.
The best result for Salzburg in the group's other match would be a Liverpool win against Napoli. That would see the Champions League holders win the group and have nothing to play for when Red Bull host them in the final game.
First they must beat Genk and on current form the visitors are worthy favourites. Genk are without a win in any of their last five matches (D2 L3). Aside from a 0-0 home draw with Napoli, they have lost all of their Champions League group games. A win would put them in contention to finish above Red Bull Salzburg and claim the Europa League spot, but with the team currently ninth in Belgium's First Division A, you wonder if they need the distraction.

Goals always flow when Salzburg play

With their goal machine striker Erling Haaland currently injured, Red Bull Salzburg are a little short at 1.64.
They should certainly win this match against a poor Genk side, but we need a bit of extra value to make it worth backing them. Red Bull Salzburg are 2.60 to win and for both teams to score. That looks like a bet that could land, with Salzburg scoring and conceding in all four of their group matches.
