Football Bet of the Day: You've a Sporting chance if you back the hosts

We're dipping our toe into the Europa League water tonight, because Kev believes the hosts Sporting will overcome off-form PSV.

Dutch to come up short again

There are some weeks in football betting when you wonder whether you might be part of some kind of Candid Camera show, where you're being tested to see how you'll react under stressful conditions. Libertad, who had won their last ten home games in the league before last night, drew 0-0 with the bottom side Sportivo Luqueno in Paraguay.
We'll head to Portugal for our next wager, because Lisbon giants Sporting seem to have gotten their act together as they prepare to face a PSV side that has lost its way.
Sporting is a volatile club, and they are already onto their third coach of the season. Marcel Keizer was dismissed after a poor start to the season, Leonel Pontes lasted just a handful of games, and now former Belenenses boss Silas is in charge.
It's a taken a while, but it seems Silas has turned a corner. Sporting have won five of their last six games, and at the Jose Alvalade, they have won their last four matches in all competitions.
A win over PSV will secure a place in the last 32, and the Dutch titans are having a tough time. They are 11 points off top spot in the Eredivisie, and they have only won one of their last seven matches.
On the road, Mark van Bommel's team is really suffering. They have lost three of their last four games, conceding 11 goals in that sequence.
I'll back Sporting here using the Draw No Bet market.
