Football Bet of the Day: Werder to enjoy the Wolves' lair

After securing a run of three straight winners, Kev's looking to finish with a flourish in Germany.

Wolves to lose their bite

Wolfsburg v Werder Bremen

Live on BT Sport and Betfair Live Video
There was no Swiss miss for us last night, as our BTTS/Over 2.5 Goals bet landed thanks to Sion's 2-1 win over Thun.
We've recovered well after a shaky start to the week, and now we'll look to clinch a profit in Germany. Wolfsburg are up against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, and the hosts seem a bit too short for the win.
Wolfsburg had a draining trip to Ukraine in midweek, and they clinched a place in the Europa League's last 32 by beating Oleksandria 1-0. The Wolves' general form has dipped a bit - they have lost four of their last six games in all competitions, and have only won two of the last nine. In the Bundesliga, Oliver Glasner's side have won just one of their last five home matches.
Werder haven't won any of their last eight Bundesliga games, their worst ever run under coach Florian Kohfeldt. However, it's worth noting that a slew of injuries hasn't helped their cause, and five of those eight games ended level. They have only lost one of their last five away games.
This feels like a team that is capable of more, and I believe they can go toe-to-toe with a Wolfsburg outfit that has faltered a bit in the last couple of months.
I'll back Draw and Away in the Double Chance market here at 1.81.
