The wheels look like they’re starting to fall off at Western United as their honeymoon period in their inaugural A-League season has certainly ended. They’ve now lost back-to-back games against poor opposition and are in danger of slipping outside the top six if they can’t turn things around. On the other hand, Sydney FC continue to impress and made light work of Perth Glory last weekend in the Grand Final rematch. Sydney were clinical in front of goal in their 3-1 away win, which made it three wins on the spin for the champs. Slow starts have affected Mark Rudan’s side for much of the campaign and if that continues against Sydney, it could be a tough afternoon for the hosts.
