Australia A league betting tips : Sydney FC vs Brisbane Roar

The Wolf’s roughie of the weekend comes from the fixture between Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar, which can seemingly only end in one way. Sydney are now top of the table again this season and are of course the defending champions. They’ve been banging in goals for fun of late and are especially strong on their home deck.
In contrast, Brisbane have secured just two wins this season and have managed to claim two points on the road from four tries. The Wolf sees Sydney winning comfortably in a potential blowout. Brisbane’s win over the Mariners last weekend pushed them into the top six, but a stern test of their credentials awaits in Round 9 as they travel to Jubilee Stadium to face Sydney FC, who are sitting pretty on top of the table.
Despite sitting in sixth place and finals contention the Roar are only two points off the bottom of the Hyundai A-League table leading into the clash with Sydney FC on Saturday afternoon.

Sydney are an all-round good side; in the attacking third they’ve got some quality players with Le Adam Fondre, Milos Ninkovic and Brandon O’Neill, and they’ve added well with Alex Baumjohann, Kosta Barbarouses and Luke Brattan.
They’re going to be a threat going forward, defensively they’ve probably got the same back four and goalkeeper they’ve had for a while with the inclusion of Ryan McGowan.
Note :
  • There have been an average of four goals per game scored in Hyundai A-League fixtures when Sydney FC have hosted Brisbane Roar since the beginning of the 2014/15 Season
  • Brisbane Roar have won only one of their last 19 Hyundai A-League games away from home (D5, L13); a 5-3 win over the Central Coast Mariners in February this year their only success in that span.
  • Roar are yet to score a first-half goal this A-League season; however, no team has scored more second half goals than Robbie Fowler’s side (8) this term.
  • Alexander Baumjohann (Sydney FC) has provided three assists for teammate Adam Le Fondre so far this A-League season, more than any other player for another in the competition.
