The Old Lady are once again dominating Serie A as they sit three points clear of Napoli with two games in hand and four clear of Roma with one in hand over them. They have won 17 of their 21 fixtures this term and their record at home is played 11, won 11. In fact, they have won their last 27 Serie A matches in front of their own fans - a quite magnificent achievement.

One of the major keys to their success has been their impressive defensive record. Massimiliano Allegri's side have conceded 16 goals in 21 outings this season and only six of those were at home. They have kept three clean sheets in a row on this ground and that includes visits from Roma and Lazio.

Inter are in decent form themselves as seven wins from seven has seen them climb to fourth in the table. They did suffer a reverse to Lazio in the Coppa Italia in the week, but qualifying for the Champions League is what they are interested in and Stefano Pioli's men are closing the gap on the top three.

As far as the goals go, since their upturn in results started, two of their three on the road saw over 2.5 layers collect. They kept clean sheets at Sassuolo and Palermo, while conceding just one at Udinese.

The Inter defence have improved enough to show that they have the ability to cope with Gonzalo Higuain and co. but they will likely struggle to get any joy at the other end as Juventus are so good at the back. Which is why, with over 2.5 goals trading at around the 1.93 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
