Bet 1Metz (HOME) @ 2.5 (6/4)

The hosts are down in 17th in Ligue One but they've now won two of their last three and it's just one defeat in five. At home they haven't lost in any of their last five and their two latest victories were wins to nil.

Their opponents are also down at the bottom end of the league as they are in 16th with the same amount of points. Dijon had been on a good run themselves as they took eight points from a possible 12, but that ended with a 2-1 defeat at Bordeaux in the cup and a 3-1 loss at home to PSG.

There isn't much to choose between these two teams but as Metz have home advantage and the better recent form, I think they are a decent value pick to make it three from three in front of their own fans.

Bet 2Juventus (AWAY) @ 1.28 (2/7)

This is a bit of a boring selection but there weren't any other away wins that were tempting me this week so I have played it safe with Juventus.

I have actually opposed Juve on their travels this season and it worked out well as they were beaten 2-1 at Fiorentina. A visit to Crotone is a different kettle of fish though and I expect them to sweep aside the newly promoted club.

Davide Nicola's men are second from bottom of Serie A and they've already been beaten 15 times this year. Nearly all of their good results have come at home, but their three wins have been against smaller teams and when they've taken on the better ones, they have lost.

Bet 3Marseille v Guingamp (Over 2.5 goals) @ 1.8 (4/5)

Back to France now for our goal-fest as Marseille take on Guingamp at Stade Vélodrome.

It's been a bad couple of weeks for L'OM as they have dropped to seventh in the table after losing three of their last four matches. The gap to the European places is now four points and they really need to win this evening to get back on the right track.

Picking up victories at home hasn't been an issue for Rudi García's men and neither has been scoring goals. They put five past Montpellier on their latest outing here and three of their last four have now seen over 2.5 backers collect.

Guingamp could actually go above Marseille with a win tonight but maximum points on the road is only something that they've achieved twice this term. They conceded three to both Nice and Lorient in their last two away games and prior to that they drew 2-2 at Metz.

Bet 4Leicester v Derby (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.7 (7/10)

I have covered this fixture in more detail here but the main theme is that I can't see there being many goals.

Leicester are badly struggling to put the ball in the net - five league matches without a goal - and they haven't looked like scoring either.

Derby have had a strong defensive record this season and they are better equipped at the back than they are in attack.

The original game of the tie did finish 2-2 at Pride Park, but a fluke own goal opened the scoring that day and that opened things up from an early stage. I don't see that happening this evening as the Foxes will be desperate not to lose and the Rams won't overly commit men forward either.
