Espanyol v Real Betis
Friday 19:45

Live on Sky Sports Mix and Betfair Live Video

La Liga could return with an unexpected bang this weekend. Over 2.5 Goals is comfortably odds-against for Real Betis's trip to Espanyol, but we've found reasons to disagree with the market.

The visitors have scored on each of their last four away trips. Evergreen main man Ruben Castro has a good record against Espanyol (four goals in six appearances, according to Opta) and can help make it five in a row against an Espanyol defence that conceded three to Las Palmas last time out at the Cornella El Prat.

That game finished 4-3 to the hosts and it's the Parakeets'potent attack that's been getting them out of trouble. They've struck at least three times in 4/5 on home turf. With all five going Over 2.5 Goals in total, we're more optimistic about Friday night's entertainment than most.

Real Madrid v Alaves
Sunday 15:15
Live on Sky Sports 2

Real Madrid are two points clear at the top of La Liga, with a game in hand. In large part, Zinedine Zidane's men are there because of their attacking prowess. Judged on defensive steadfastness alone, they would not even be in Spain's top three.

This weekend, Los Blancos will very likely beat an Alaves side that, even with 10 rounds of the season to go, sits just a little too comfortably in mid-table. But the hosts might not have everything their own way at the Bernabeu.

In quick succession at the start of this season, Alaves went to the three other teams that now fill out La Liga's top four.Mauricio Pellegrino's men drew 1-1 at Atletico Madrid, beat Barcelona 2-1 and went down 2-1 at Sevilla. The important thing here is that they scored against all three.

More recently, the Basques have scored eight times in their last four away games. The opposition was weaker in those matches, but we fancy them to strike again on Sunday against a Real defence that has recently conceded in 9/10 games across all competitions.

Granada v Barcelona
Sunday 19:45
Live on Sky Sports 1

Last weekend, a defeat at relegation rivals Sporting Gijon left Granada seven points short of safety. With 10 games left, they can no longer afford to shirk the hard games and focus on the winnable ones. So they'll go full tilt at Barcelona this weekend, but it probably won't be enough.

Luis Enrique's visitors have won 5-1, 3-0 and 5-0 on trips to the sides now alongside Granada in the bottom four. This year, the Catalans have also thrashed Eibar 4-0 and Alaves 6-0. Last time out on the road, there was a shock 2-1 defeat at Deportivo La Coruna, but it's hard to imagine them making the same mistakes again.

With a clasico still to come, Real are vulnerable at the top, but Barcelona must keep the pressure on. This weekend, they can do exactly that with another comfortable win.
