The Wolf tipped both Keys and Stepehns to win their respective semi’s but it was the manner in which Keys made it to the final that has her incorrectly installed as a firm favourite. This one should be much closer to a flip and Stephens is not being given the respect she deserves. She was incredible in the third set against Venus and her defence has been spectacular throughout the tournament. Sloane has proven that she can both handle and repel her opponents power which will allow her to frustrate Keys. Keys blasted her way past Vandeweghe but will not be afforded the same comfort against Stephens who is a superior athlete to Coco. Stephens also got the better of Keys in straight sets in their only meeting in Miami back in 2015. The Wolf says not to be fooled by Stephens ranking of 83. Over the last 3 weeks she has the most wins of any lady on the tour and has registered a handful of win over top class opponents including Kvitova, Kerber, Cibulkova, Safarova and Venus. There will be twists and turns and The Wolf says this one will be going the distance! He thinks Sloane will outlast Keys.
