Genoa v Sampdoria

It's one of the great Serie A derbies on Saturday night, one that I advise any of you reading to try and get to at least once, as Genoa and Samp go head to head at Marassi.
The two clubs seem to be going in different directions at the moment, with Samp flying after their 4-1 win against Chievo last time, and Genoa in awful trouble in the bottom three.
Genoa held crisis talks in the week, and it's widely believed that Ivan Juric will be out of a job if things don't change soon. Sadly for their immensely likeable coach, they don't look like changing this weekend.
Genoa have been in "ritiro" this week, basically a training camp cut off from the outside world, but even though they'll have the large majority of the support at Marassi on Saturday, I think that Samp rate outstanding value to beat them.
They are, put simply, the better team by some distance, they're playing well, and don't forget that they're effectively at home as well. They're trading at 2.60 to win, and given that they have won their last four "away" derbies, they've proved conclusively that they can cope with the pressure of this fixture.
This is a team that can score goals freely, playing against one that is struggling badly in that area, one that went down against lowly SPAL last week, one that would appear to be going nowhere.
Genoa's worst start to a Serie A season since 1959-60 looks set to continue, and Samp must be backed for the win at a very generous price.

Inter v Torino

Inter take on Torino in Sunday's early game, and on the basis that Inter got a wake-up call on Monday night at Verona, I can't believe that they'll play as badly this weekend.
Inter were curiously sluggish and a little tentative, very un-Spalletti, and while it doesn't say much for them and their title chances, I can only put that performance down to the wrong attitude on Monday. They thought that Verona would be a soft touch.
Inter won't look at Torino that way, and given that Toro have won two of their last six games at San Siro, they'd be wise to see them as a viable threat, but this is a Torino side full of issues, particularly defensive ones.
They've conceded 12 goals in their six Serie A away games so far, have kept a clean sheet only against Benevento, and it will be a major surprise if they can add another at San Siro.
Mauro Icardi has an excellent record against this weekend's opposition, and after an odd performance against Verona, in which he seemed to be playing in midfield for much of the 90 minutes, I think we'll see the home version of Icardi, primed and ready to score.
Andrea Belotti will cause a lot of problems for Inter too, and it was good to see him back and playing 90 minutes last week. Now all that he needs is a first goal since September.
Belotti has scored in his previous two games against Inter at San Siro, and I wouldn't be surprised to see that run continue: Inter, though, will be too strong, and the best bet, as so often with Torino, is for there to be at least four goals in the game. It feels like it will be that kind of Sunday morning.

Fiorentina v Roma

Roma showed the world just how good they are with that performance against Chelsea in midweek, and they must carry that form to Florence as they try and mount a serious challenge for a very winnable Serie A title.
Roma lost here last year, but this is a very different team now that Eusebio Di Francesco is in charge. They have more clean sheets than anyone else in Serie A this season, have won four of their games 1-0, and have in many ways become the team that Juventus used to be. Now they just need to match their consistency.
La Viola are traditionally strong at home, but they look a lot weaker this season, still adjusting to the loss of some key players over the summer. Stefano Pioli is a really good coach, and will get it right, but that time is some way in the distance, as last week's defeat at Crotone showed.
Roma will be hell bent on building on Tuesday and keeping up their excellent defensive record, and I think they'll be good enough to do that, probably in a low scoring game.
