Sao Paulo v Goias
Sunday August 16, 01:00 BST
It's been a strange season for Sao Paulo as after finally getting some consistency last year and finishing as runners-up to Cruzeiro, they have reverted back to bad habits.
Half of their matches have resulted in wins, but then they've also fallen to five defeats and that has left them in fourth place - half a dozen points behind leaders, Corinthians.
Opponents, Goias, are struggling at the other end of the table as 16 points from a possible 54 means it's a spot in the relegation zone for the time-being. They haven't won in six, although it is worth noting that their last three have at least been draws.
Before I continue, I must say that the stats aren't overly favouring goals in this one, but I still think we'll get some. The hosts managed to notch twice at Figueirense in the week and that is the first time they've achieved that in four games, meaning that their confidence in front of goal should be renewed somewhat.
The visitors have had two 0-0's in a row, but both of those came in front of their own fans and, on the road, they have scored in four of their last five, while only taking a single point from that set of fixtures.
This is a bit of a punt but the odds are generous if we are rewarded with at least three goals. I've already outlined the reasons why I think we can get them, which is why, at around the 1.70mark, I have to make under 2.5 my lay of the day.
