Celtic striker Nadir Ciftci returns for the first leg of their Champions League play-off, with the Turk still serving a domestic ban.

Kris Commons has shrugged off a dead leg after missing Saturday's win over Inverness Caley Thistle.

Scott Allan is in the 20-man squad after completing his transfer from Hibernian on Friday evening.

Malmo are without captain Markus Rosenborg, with the former West Brom striker suspended.

Defensive midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu is also banned for the first leg in Glasgow.

The visitors turned in an excellent display in the previous round, recovering from a 2-0 first leg loss to overcome Salzburg.

However, they are struggling in defence of their Swedish Allsvenskan title and sit fifth in the table after 20 games.
Malmo reached the Champions League group stage for the first time last season, winning one match in a section with Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Olympiacos.

"Malmo have done well in the last two, three years," said Celtic boss Ronny Deila.

"I have big respect for the club. They have developed a lot of good football players over the years.

"They lost some players last season but they have added new players and some from the academy as well. We are going to face an experienced opponent."

Celtic missed out at this stage a year ago, losing 1-0 at home to Maribor following a draw in Slovenia.

Unbeaten in their opening four Premiership matches, Deila's team accounted for Stjarnan of Iceland and Qarabag of Azerbaijan to set up this tie.

"It's just unbelievable to have Champions League games at Celtic Park," explained Celtic's Swedish defender Mikael Lustig.

"We're going to make sure we don't mess it up this year. We're ready, we've been solid in Europe so far.

"We played really good defensively against Qarabag, our confidence is good now so I think we are ready.

"After we went out of the Champions League last year we became a better team.
"We played okay in the Europa League and were very close to the treble but the aim is to reach the Champions League."

Malmo also have a Norwegian manager in Age Hareide, while the visitors have Jo Inge Berget among their ranks, the Norway international who failed to make an impact on loan at Celtic last season.

"Celtic are the favourites tomorrow and the result will determine who will be the favourites for the game in Malmo," said Hareide.
