What To Expect
In week 1 of the JLT Series the Pies came from 23 points down at three quarter time to defeat the Bombers by 9 points. This performance was even better when you take into account the likes of Pendlebury, Treloar, Adams and Grundy were all missing on that night. This week, all four return and their midfield on paper looks outstanding. Fremantle were nothing short of embarrassing against West Coast last week in Geraldton and owe it to their fans to put in a better performance here. They were wiped off the park by the Eagles ball movement and looked lethargic across all lines of play. In a positive for the Dockers, Nat Fyfe looked terrific and his play will only improve as he gathers match fitness.
The inclusions of Sandilands and Neale will help take some pressure off Fyfe in the midfield and give us a greater understanding of how they will fare in season 2017. The Wolf can see an upset brewing here with the Pies having too much run and class through the midfield.
