Brisbane Broncos v South Sydney Rabbitohs

The Broncos were gallant in defeat against the Roosters last week, with five of their six Queensland representatives backing up after Origin 1. Anthony Milford missed the clash after he picked up a head knock in Origin 1, with Benji Marshall stepping into the No.6 jersey and turning back the clock. The Rabbitohs will be fresh after the bye in Round 13 and will want to have improved dramatically on what they dished up against the Eels in Round 12. Rabbitohs halfback Adam Reynolds could miss the clash with a knee injury.

The Wolf is expecting a strong performance from Boyd here, especially with talk that Billy Slater will take the No.1 QLD jersey off him for Origin 2. Walker’s form has fallen away over his past two games for the Rabbitohs which has also coincided with talk that he wants out of Redfern. Rabbitohs fans will be hoping that the week off has switched Walker on, otherwise the Rabbitohs are a one-man band named Sam Burgess.
