Chelsea v Newcastle – (Sat 11:30pm)Antonio Conte was sent to the stand in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Swansea. Hazard, Moses and Bakayoko all started on the bench as Conte used the full compliment of his squad but all will return to the starting XI for this one – bad news for Newcastle. The magpies avoided a 5th straight defeat by coming back from 2-0 down to salvage a point away to the Baggies. They will not want to fall behind against Chelsea as the Blues have been clinical in defence. They have conceded just once in their last 5 Premier League matches and The Wolf says we could see them go on a huge winning streak though to the new year. Their next 7 matches are against sides sitting 10th or lower on the ladder so don’t be surprised when they move into 2nd on the ladder and have the best defence in the EPL come Christmas. Newcastle have scored just once in their last 4 trips to The Bridge and will not be adding to that tally.
Best: Teams To Score – Chelsea Only ($1.83)
Value: Chelsea Win Both Halves ($2.25)
Brighton v Liverpool – (Sun 2:00am)Jurgen Klopp put faith in his squad in the trip to Stoke and they repaid the faith in a comfortable win. Mignolet was lucky not to be sent in the first half while Salah came on late to bag a brace. He now has 17 goals across all competitions this season and his return to the starting lineup will send shivers through the Brighton defence. Henderson, Coutinho and Salah will all get the start with Milner also likely to benefit from the rotation. Klopp will be fully aware that Brighton are undefeated in their last 6 EPL fixtures at home with Man City the only side to claim all 3 points from their trip to East Sussex. Brighton’s defence has been the key to picking up points at home but The Wolf cannot see them holding out Liverpool. The Reds have scored 3 or more goals in 6 of their last 7 games across all competitions with the Over 8-1 in their last 9. This one has goals written all over it. Brighton have found the back of the net in 5 of their last 6 home games while Liverpool have just 1 clean sheet on the road in the league. In fact, Liverpool have conceded 16 goals away from Anfield this season – only the Hammers have allowed more on the road. We have seen the Over go 6-1 in their away games as a result with 5 of the 7 games producing at least 5 goals! The Wolf is rolling out all 5 chips for the Overs!!!
Best: Over 2.5 goals ($1.70)
Value: Over 4.5 goals ($5.50)
Watford v Tottenham – (Sun 2:00am)
It is not often that we see two top half sides coming off defeats and it gives this encounter additional importance. Watford showed a tonne of fight in the second half against Man Utd while Spurs defeat at the hands of Leicester means that Pochettino’s men have now collected just 1 point from their last 3 EPL fixtures. They have lost their last 3 away in the league with just a single goal scored along the way. The Wolf says Spurs have become far too reliant on Harry Kane to score. His 10 goals have been valuable but with only 5 other scorers this season they will need further contributions from the supporting cast. Eriksen had 20 assists last season but has just the 3 this time around and has not produced one since Gameweek 2! With Alderweireld still out The Wolf cannot trust Spurs away from home. Richarlison has been outstanding for The Hornets while the midfield duo of Cleverley and Doucoure have consistently been able to set a platform. The Wolf tipped us into Leicester in the double chance market midweek and says it is Watford’s turn to deliver. They have scored multiple goals in 3 of their last 4 league games at home so look for that trend to also continue.
Best: Double Chance – Watford or Draw ($2.00)
Value: Watford Over 1.5 goals ($3.20)
Arsenal v Man Utd – (Sun 4:30am)The Gunners ran riot at home to Huddersfield in what was their best performance of the season. Sanchez, Ozil and Lacazette all got in on the act while the combination of Ramsey and Xhaka in midfield is really starting to gel. Arsenal have won 5 of their last 6 in the league including 12 straight at home dating back to last season. Their 9 clean sheets in that stretch is the most impressive stat and The Wolf strongly believes that they can add to it. Two screamers from Ashley Young completely changed the complexion of United’s match at Watford and the reality is that they had scored just 1 goal in their last 3 away league games prior to that match. Mourinho’s tatics away to top sides have been crystal clear. A clean sheet is priority one and he is more than happy to walk away with a draw. In their last 8 games away to either Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal they have lost 6 and drawn two. What is even more alarming is the fact that they have found the back of the net just once! Arsenal have held United scoreless in 3 of the last 4 meetings at The Emirates and The Wolf says Mourinho’s defensive mentality will cost his side dearly.
Best: Under 2.5 goals ($1.90)
Value: Teams To Score – Arsenal Only ($4.25)
Man City v West Ham – (Mon 3:00am)City made the great escape for the third time in a week and it was Sterling who got it done yet again. He has now scored the winner in 3 straight matches and City are really riding the wave at the moment despite not playing to their potential. It is a sign of their quality – something that the Hammers will be unable to cope with. They were extremely disappointing at Goodison Park and were torn to shreds on the flanks, an area which City will easily exploit. Sterling, Sane and Jesus will have a field day on the wings and that will leave gaping holes in the middle for Silva, De Bruyne and Aguero to operate in. Zabaleta will have his work cut out for him against his former team. City’s last three against the Hammers… all wins with 12 goals scored and just 1 conceded. The Hammers will be on the wrong end of a hiding.
Best: Man City Over 3.5 goals ($2.05)
Value: Man City Over 4.5 goals ($3.40)
Gameweek 15 Best Bets
Best: Brighton v Liverpool – Over 2.5 goals ($1.70)
Best Value Bet: Teams To Score – Arsenal Only ($4.25)
