Eight to like

Raheem Sterling - £8.1m. This is the perfect example of why fantasy and reality are two very different concepts. The eye-test tells me that Raheem Sterling shouldn't be a fantasy option but the stats say the polar opposite. Four goals with the same amount of assists in his past seven and West Ham at home next. Only 11.3% of teams have him and those managers would like it to stay that way.
Charlie Austin - £6.0m. I didn't like him for the midweek trip to Man City but if you need a cheap third striker, you'd be hard pressed to do better than the former bricklayer. Expect him to win his starting position back and score against the team who would've signed him from non-league football had it not been for a transfer embargo.
Charlie Austin is currently trading at 5.90 to open the scoring in the Bournemouth v Southampton match on the Exchange
Gylfi Sigurdsson - £8.0m. The most disappointing player of the fantasy season so far will have his value driven up by the appointment of Big Sam. His attention to detail at set pieces will create many more assist opportunities for the Icelandic international. Huddersfield at home on Saturday is a nice spot to pick him up.

Anthony Martial - £8.0m. At the same price as Sigurdsson above, many managers will be considering which to pick. Neither is a bad option. Martial does seem to have picked up momentum and away from home at Saturday teatime, his pace and skill will test the Arsenal defence.
Anthony Martial is currently trading at 3.75 to score anytime in the Arsenal v Manchester United match on the Exchange

Sam Field - £4.5m. The West Brom teenager is very similar to Raheem Sterling in that this is a stats driven business. He's dirt cheap and looks likely to be getting some decent playing time. Many teams will have cheap players on their bench in case of injuries and this guy might be a good option for your fifth midfielder.
Mo Salah, Sadio Mané & Philippe Coutinho - Various. Every week I watch Liverpool impress me when playing football on the break. This weekend they visit Brighton. I fully expect more fast paced attacks and you can't go wrong with having any of these men in your team. The fact Salah is approaching 50% in terms of teams selected by says everything!
Any Other Away Win is currently trading at 4.60 in the Brighton v Liverpool match on the Exchange

Xherdan Shaqiri - £6.0m. The Swiss international has always been a streaky player. With three assists and two goals in his past five, it is fair to say that he's in a rich vein of form. Swansea at home is another good match-up for him on paper.

Joseph Gomez - £4.6m. When you get the opportunity to pickup a defender from a top club for relatively cheap money, it is always worth a look. Gomez has started all but one of Liverpool's past nine games. That Brighton trip doesn't scare me at all and a chance of a cheap clean sheet is beckoning.

Two to avoid

Romelu Lukaku - £11.4m. For the second time in three columns, I am not liking the Belgian international this week. His form is a clear concern and would it shock anybody to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic get a start to take Lukaku out of the firing line? A week ago he was selected by 48% of teams, now it is down to 41%. I'm not surprised.
If you think I'm wrong, Romelu Lukaku is currently trading at 8.80 to score two or more in the Arsenal v Manchester United match on the Exchange

Alexandre Lacazette - £10.3m. Two big name strikers this week but this one is an injury issue. He's going to be out for a few weeks with a groin injury according to his manager. Over 10% of managers have him in their side. Time to transfer him out and find a suitable replacement.

Captain's pick

If you have a Liverpool or Manchester City attack minded player then surely they'll be your captain pick. Mo Salah and company travel to Brighton while the great Sergio Aguero/Gabriel Jesus conundrum will be played out this week at home to West Ham.
