Washington @ Dallas – (Fri 12:25pm)Both the Cowboys and the Redskins have a 5-6 record and would be considered an outside chance of NFC Wildcard berth. It would surely spell the end of any playoff hopes for the loser here. The Cowboys will be missing influential linebacker Sean Lee once again, while it looks like Zack Martin will clear the concussion protocol to take his spot against the Redskins. The Redskins will be sweating on the fitness of Trent Williams as he battles a knee injury. Reports suggest he will be a game-time decision. The Cowboys won the Week 8 clash in Washington 33-19, but will be without running back Ezekiel Elliott, who carved up that day, rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns. The Wolf is happy to play the overs here, with both sides dealing with injuries and players unlikely to be 100% fit if they’re active. The overs has also landed in five of the last six meetings between the sides.
Best: Over 44 ($1.91)
New England @ Buffalo – (Mon 5am)The Bills will be high on confidence after their 16-10 win over the Chiefs at Arrowhead in Week 12. They’ll need more than 16 points if they’re to challenge Tom Brady and the Patriots when they come to town. The Patriots have won 24 of the last 27 meetings against the Bills and are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games against the Bills in Buffalo. Bills QB Tyrod Taylor was good against the Chiefs, but he lacks the weapons on offence when his main targets are Zay Jones and Jordan Matthews. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a master of taking away the opposition’s top weapon and The Wolf is expecting a quiet game from LeSean McCoy, hurting the Bills chance here. It’s never wise to bet against Brady and the Pats offence.
Best: New England -8 ($1.91)
Carolina @ New Orleans – (Mon 8:25am)The Saints lost veteran left tackle Terron Armstead to a hamstring injury in last week’s loss to the Rams, and will need his presence against the Panthers in Week 13. If he is out, it will make life difficult for Drew Brees as he looks to exploit the burnable Panthers secondary, which was just gashed by Josh McCown and Robby Anderson. The Saints have their own woes in the secondary, with both Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley missing the clash against the Rams. It’s hard to take the Saints early in the week, with so many question marks hanging over the make-up of their side due to injury. The Panthers have won 7 of their last 11 meetings against Saints and are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games. Taking the Panthers with the start, but with a close eye on the Saints team news.
Best: Carolina +4 ($1.91)
Philadelphia @ Seattle – (Mon 12:30pm)This is hardly the daunting match-up that it could have been for Eagles QB Carson Wentz, with both Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor missing from the Legion of Boom. Wentz is also protected by a strong offensive line, led by Lane Johnson, who will ensure Wentz stays on his feet. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson will continue to run for his life behind a terrible offensive line, but can’t do it all on his own against the best side in the league. The Seahawks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games, while the Eagles are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Eagles just look stronger on both sides of the ball, while CenturyLink shouldn’t present too many problems, with the road team 7-2 ATS in the past 9 meetings between the Eagles and Seahawks.
Best: Philadelphia -5 ($1.91)
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati – (Tues 12:30pm)The Steelers were slow out of the blocks against the Packers and won’t make the same mistake against their bitter rivals here. The Steelers have won five straight against the Bengals, including a 29-14 win at Pittsburgh earlier in the season. Running back Le’Veon Bell had 35 carries for 134 yards and it’s impossible to see how the Bengals will stop him this time around. The Steelers are 14-2-2 ATS in their last 18 meetings in Cincinnati. The scare against the Packers was the wake-up call they needed and they’ll have too much fire power for the Bengals for a second time this season.
Best: Pittsburgh -5.5 ($1.91)
The Wolf’s Best Bets: 83-84-6
