QPR in midst of defensive crisis

Ian Holloway was nominated for the Manager of the Month award in October having guided QPR to back-to-back victories over table-topping Wolves and Sheffield United in an unbeaten four-game spell. However, the R's boss is now under intense pressure following aforgettable November.
The Hoops have fallen to three successive losses, including last Tuesday night's dismal 2-0 defeat at Derby. An uninspiring first-half with a damage limitation system saw the visitors concede from a defensive lapse before the interval before displaying a second-half performance lacking fight and character.
The reverse made it 16 games without a win on the road for QPR who'll be pleased to return home to the relative comforts of Loftus Road. But the hosts' severe defensive injury crisismeans Holloway may have to draft in a collection of youngsters to cover for Joel Lynch, Darnell Furlong, Nedum Onuoha, Grant Hall, James Perch and Steven Caulker.

Brentford still searching for consistency

Brentford produced their worst performance of the season as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Burton last Tuesday. The Bees were, for the majority of the 90 minutes, flat and uninspiring as they once again failed to breakdown a side that put bodies behind the ball and made space in the final third limited.
Boss Dean Smith admitted he got his team selection wrong but Griffin Park regulars were left frustrated as Brentford failed to seal the deal against an Albion outfit that had shown little desire to win the game before Florian Jozefzoon's free kick opener.
Supporters have also bemoaned the frequency of Brentford leads being squandered. The Bees have now dropped 16 points from winning positions; had the visitors held onto all of their leads they would be top of the league.

Impressive Bees fair favourites

QPR 2.98 boast a 50% win ratio when welcoming Championship clubs under Ian Holloway's tutelage (W12-D3-L9) but Rangers' lack of bodies at the back for Monday night leaves the hoists looking particularly vulnerable.
Brentford 2.40 were beaten at high-flying Cardiff in their most recent road trip but that's the Bees' sole reverse in 11 league fixtures (W5-D5-L1) as the visitors have began to move up through the standings.
The visitors have secured top honours in seven of their most recent 10 trips to bottom-eight opponents and with Dean Smith's side posting Championship-leading returns across a variety of performance data metrics, it's understandable to see Brentford chalked up as fair pre-match favourites here.

Goals guaranteed at Loftus Road

Of the aforementioned 24 matches that Holloway has overseen at Loftus Road in his second spell with QPR, a huge 18/24 (75%) have collected for Both Teams To Score backers, with 17/24 (71%) also paying-out in the Over 2.5 Goals 1.68 market.
A massive 14 of the past 18 encounters in W12 have beaten the Over 2.5 Goals barrier and a repeat looks an attractive option at []1.68. The Hoops have only failed to score on three occasions at home under Holloway whilst silencing only four visiting teams.
Brentford also boast strong goal trends on their travels. The Bees have seen 17/32 (53%) of away trips since the start of last season featuring at least three goals with 19/32 (59%) pocketing profit for BTTS supporters, whilst Dean Smith's side have shipped at least two goals in three of their last four away.
