Lack of goals a problem for struggling Brighton

After a good start to the season, Brighton are plummeting towards the relegation zoneafter hitting a poor run of form.
The Seagulls are now without a win in six games, though that run has included some very tough games against Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham. Now thirteenth in the Premier League, only three points separates Brighton from the relegation zone.
The biggest issue for Chris Hughton's well-organised team is a lack of goals. Only four clubs have scored less goals than Brighton this season and the club with doubtless hope to land a new striker in January, having failed to do so in the summer.
One problem that Hughton doesn't have to deal with right now is injuries. Only Steve Sidwell is out for the visit of Burnley.

Burnley's away form has boosted their prospects

Burnley were temporarily in the top four in midweek, after racking up another victory when they hosted Stoke.
A victory against Brighton would see Burnley move back into the Champions League spots and put the pressure on Spurs and Liverpool, who both play after the Clarets over the weekend.
Burnley's improvement this season has been built on a massive improvement in their away form. Last season Burnley made Turf Moor a fortress, but struggled to win points on the road. This season they have the fifth best away record in the top flight, earning the same amount of points as Manchester United and Liverpool.
The form of Burnley is even more remarkable when you consider their injury issues. Rob Brady, Tom Heaton, Dean Marney and Jonathan Walters are all long-term casualties, while Matthew Lowton, Ben Mee and Stephen Ward are all doubts for the trip to Brighton.

Huge price for another Burnley win

Brighton are the favourites at 2.74; with the draw at 3.05 and Burnley at 3.20.
It's hard to see how Brighton are rated as favourites in light of their recent record and Burnley's success on the road this season. The price of a Burnley win is very generous, making the 2.14 in the Draw No Bet market a low-risk bet for the cautious among you.

Low scoring affair seems a certainty

Under 2.5 goals is the favourite at 1.45, with overs out at 2.66.
Seven of Burnley's last eight games have seen less than 2.5 goals, so the price seems fair. During this run, six of those matches saw under 1.5 goals pay out, which makes the 2.60on offer for less than two goals a value bet.
With Brighton struggling to score goals, another option is for Burnley to keep a clean sheet. Burnley have not conceded in six of their last eight games and are available at 2.90 to keep a clean sheet.
