Rennes v PSG (6th v 1st)

PSG will almost certainly collect another three points this weekend but Rennes have played well enough in recent times to suggest they'll trouble the runaway Ligue 1 leaders at Roazhan Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Bretons have won seven of their last 10 games (W7-D2-L1) in all competitions so go into this fixture brimming with confidence. Unlike some of the opponents that PSG face in France's top flight, Rennes are unlikely to simply sit back and defend; on the contrary, the hosts will rightly believe they can make life difficult for the Paris back four.
Crucially, Rennes have scored in each of their past 10 games. They've found the net twice in four of their last five fixtures, the latest occasion being their 2-2 draw against a good Marseille side in the League Cup on Wednesday night (Rennes won on penalties).
PSG are almost bound to score, but Rennes' impressive form appears to be underestimated.

Troyes v Amiens (17th v 11th)

It's a surprise Troyes are clear favourites to claim victory this weekend (the hosts are 2.30to win) given how these two sides have performed this season.
Troyes are three points and six places below Amiens in the Ligue 1 table. The hosts are in poor form: Troyes have lost their last three Ligue 1 games in a row and six of their last eight Ligue 1 fixtures (W2-D0-L6). They also lost 2-1 at home to Amiens when the sides met in the League Cup on October 25.
Amiens have lost their last two fixtures but those games were against top-six opponents (Rennes and Lyon). Christophe Pelissier's players regained some confidence with a 2-1 win over Ligue 2 Tours in the League Cup on Wednesday night and have good team news this weekend.
Amiens have lost just one of their last six away games in all competitions. The chances of the visitors avoiding defeat are good, so back Amiens to win, Amiens with a small start on the Asian Handicap or Amiens in the Draw No Bet market.

Caen v Guingamp (9th v 10th)

Live on Betfair Live Video
There's little to pick between these teams so underdogs Guingamp are the smart selection at Stade Michel d'Ornano on Saturday night.
Caen are just 1 point ahead of Guingamp in the Ligue 1 standings so it's hard to understand why the hosts are as short as 2.20 to win. Caen are in poor form, too: they've lost their last three matches in all competitions, are W1-D2-L4 in all competitions since the start of November and have scored just three goals in those last seven matches.
Guingamp fell as low as 16th in November but dropping so close to the relegation zone woke the players up: they've won their last two matches to nil, earning a 1-0 victory at Troyes, then thrashing 10-man Dijon 4-0 last weekend. Finally Antoine Kombouare's side have found some rhythm, making them a good bet to avoid defeat this weekend.
