Malaga v Sevilla

We had goals to spare last night, as Sporting won 3-2 at Braga, which wrapped up a profitable week in style. Now, you may recall that we left our pal Tobias in the Netherlands, and I think he's had too much fun out there, so he's not coming back for a couple of weeks. I hope that familiarity won't breed contempt.a

We're hopping over to the other side of Iberia, as Malaga prepare to take on Sevilla.

Sevilla were title contenders for much of the La Liga campaign, but perhaps it is no surprise that they have run out of steam. Coach Jorge Sampaoli delivers thrilling, all-action football, but it comes at a cost. Sampaoli and his idol Marcelo Bielsa demand so much of their players, that they simply can't maintain their form for an entire European season. Sevilla have won just three of their last nine games, and away from home, they have collected just two points from their last four matches.

Conversely, Malaga seem to be getting stronger. They have won four of their last five games, a sequence of results that has catapulted them out of relegation danger. In their last two home games they have beaten Barcelona and Valencia, and they can now play with the pressure off.

Malaga have kept five clean sheets in their last seven matches, and I think they can give Sevilla a stern test. The Andalusian visitors have all the pressure on their shoulders, as they are chasing a Champions League spot, and they just seem to be tiring a little. I think Sampaoli's men are to0o short at 1.91.
