Victory vital for Dortmund
Dortmund simply must win this game in Cyprus if they are to stand any chance of advancing from Group H.

The Germans lost their opening games against Tottenham and Real Madrid, both of whom they trail by six points. With Spurs facing the Champions League holders in Madrid, there is the chance for Dortmund to make up lost ground, but APOEL will not necessarily be an easy team to beat.

Though the Cypriot champions lost 3-0 in their home match against Tottenham, they had the better of the first-half and really should have gone in ahead. Their swift counter-attacking caused plenty of problems and it was only the deadly finishing of Harry Kane that was the difference between the teams.

Dortmund have their own sharp-shooter in the shape of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has scored 15 goals in 12 games this season. That includes a brace at the weekend in Dortmund's 3-2 home loss to RB Leipzig.

Aubameyang can inspire first win
Dortmund are the heavy favourites at 1.23. with the draw at 7.40 and APOEL out at 17.50.

APOEL were losing at half-time in both of their defeats to Real Madrid and Spurs. You can back Dortmund to win half-time/full-time at 1.69, but it's not quite generous enough to recommend.

Instead take a chance on the in-form Aubameyang to punish APOEL much in the same way that Kane was able to. The odds of 3.60 for Aubameyang to score two or more, is worth a punt when you consider that he's hit a brace in three of his last six games.

Recommended Bet
Back Aubameyang to score two or more at 3.60
