Similar domestic form, but Europe a different matter
The loss of so many Monaco's top players over the summer was bound to have a negative impact on the reigning French champions and they have made a poor start to their Champions League campaign.

Last season's semi-finalists only have a single point from their opening two games in Group G and lost their most recent match 3-0 at home to Porto. That defeat was followed by a draw at home to Montpellier and then a 3-2 loss to Lyon at the weekend.

Monaco's opponents Besiktas are also in poor domestic form, but have started brightly in the Champions League. An away defeat to Genclerbirligi at the weekend marked the third Super Lig game without a win, yet they have been victorious in both of their Champions League games this season.

With six points already in the bag, Besiktas will be in a very strong position should they avoid defeat in the French principality, in a match that Monaco badly need to win to kickstart their own campaign.

Visiting Turks are being underestimated
Considering the respective European form of these two sides, it's a surprise to see Monaco as short as 1.70 to win, with the draw at 4.20 and Besiktas at 5.50.

Sometimes even if you're unsure of which way a match will go, the odds on offer make your decision an easy one. Besiktas are once again being underestimated and the odds of 2.38 represent great value in the Double Chance market.
