Shaky start for Juve
By the lofty standards of Juventus, the Serie A champions have had a shaky start to the season.
They are in the unusual position of being off the pace in both the Italian league and in Group D of the Champions League. The Old Lady suffered a humiliating defeat away at Barcelona in their Champions League opener and though they bounced back with a win over Olympiakos, you suspect that they could now struggle to overhaul the Spanish giants.
If falling just short in the Champions League is nothing new for Juventus, their struggles in Serie A certainly are. A defeat at home to Lazio over the weekend saw Juve slip down into fourth position and they now trail Napoli by five points.
Sporting Lisbon have also had their troubles of late. Though they only trail the Primeira Liga leaders Porto by two points, they have failed to win four of their last five games.
Old Lady big price to win to nil
Juventus are the favourites at 1.37, with the draw at 5.50 and Sporting Lisbon out at 11.00.
Though Juventus have conceded two goals in both of their last two games, they can normally be trusted to defend well. They kept a clean sheet in their last home game against Olympiakos and only conceded two goals in their six group games last season. Back them to Win To Nil at [2.25].
