Bayern to take advantage of early qualification
Bayern Munich have already booked their place in the last-16 of the Champions League and look set to take advantage by rotating their squad for the match against Anderlecht.
With Jupp Heynckes now back in charge of Bayern they have risen to the top of the Bundesliga, which they lead by six points. The reigning German champions face a difficult trip to fourth placed Borussia Monchengladbach at the weekend and are likely to rest the likes of Jerome Boateng and Joshua Kimmich for the Champions League match, with several first-team players also unavailable through injury.
Of course, with the quality in Bayern's squad they still have enough talent to beat an Anderlecht side that have yet to register a point in the competition. Since Heynckes returned for his fourth spell as manager, Bayern are unbeaten, winning seven and drawing one.
Anderlecht are currently nine points behind the Belgian top flight leaders Club Brugge and have been in awful form in Group B. Not only have they lost every game, but their goal difference of -15 is the worst in the entire competition.
Anderlecht lean streak to continue
Bayern Munich are the favourites at 1.30, with the draw at 6.40 and Anderlecht at 12.00.
There's little point in backing Bayern at that price, especially as they will have a weakened side. Bayern are surprisingly big though in the To Win To Nil market at 2.50. Anderlecht are yet to score in the Champions League this season, while Bayern have only conceded three goals in their eight games under Heynckes.
