CSKA Moscow 2.22 v Benfica 3.70; The Draw 3.45

Live On BT Sport 3

Three points vital for both teams
Both sides are need of a win if they are to stand any chance of making it to the knockout rounds of the Champions League.

Benfica still have a mathematical hope of qualification but in reality it will be very difficult for them to even qualify for the Europa League, having failed to win a single point from their first four games in the competition.

Things got off to a bad start for Benfica when they lost their opening home match 2-1 to CSKA Moscow. The Russians are currently third in Group A, level with Basel on six points.

With CSKA facing an away trip to Manchester United in the final game, it's important for them to claim a win in this, their final home match. So far they've lost both of their games at the VEB Arena, with their two victories coming on the road.

Stay away from predicting tricky result
CSKA Moscow are the favourites at 2.22, with the draw at 3.45 and Benfica at 3.70.

Aside from the dominant performance of Manchester United, the matches in this group have been very difficult to predict. CSKA and Basel have both beat each other away from home, while everyone has beaten a Benfica side that were rated as second favourites in the group before a ball was kicked.

Benfica's performances have been all the more puzzling for the fact that their domestic form has been pretty good. They're surely overdue a win and the 2.64 for them in the Draw No Bet market is tempting. However, it's probably best to avoid the result markets entirely in this unpredictable group and instead go for Both Teams To Score at 1.84, as these sides did when they met earlier on in the competition.

Recommended Bet
Back both teams to score at 1.84
