After amassing 92 fantasy points last week, Neil Monnery feels like he's on a roll as he shares his thoughts with us ahead of GW13 this weekend.

Eight to like

Jamie Vardy - £8.5m. He may not have scored in his past two but I am expecting big things from the Leicester striker this week. The reason is quite simple, it is West Ham away. If the home team start slowly, it could get ugly and I like the chances of an away win. That would in all likelihood come with a Vardy goal or two.
Jamie Vardy is currently trading at 5.00 to open the scoring in Friday's match on the Exchange
Callum Wilson - £6.0m. This will be a very trendy pick after his hat-trick at the weekendbut don't think you've missed the boat. When healthy, Wilson has been pretty good option and at just £6.0m with Swansea next up, you can feel good about him as your third striker.
Callum Wilson is currently trading at 2.88 to score anytime in Saturday's match on the Exchange
Christian Benteke - £7.6m. If you are looking for a bit more of a proven track record from a centre forward then look no further than the Belgian. Roy Hodgson has made it clear this week that he expects Benteke to score the goals to fire his team to safety. They are creating chances and this week Stoke come into town off the short week. A real chance to get his campaign up and running.

Paul Pogba - £8.0m. 13.8% of managers have selected him at the time of writing, by next week expect that to be up 10%. Anyone who has watched Manchester United this season can see he is the difference maker and the fantasy stats come along with it. Three goals and four assists in just five starts. He is a good million or so cheaper than he should be in terms of the FPL.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting - £5.6m. In his past six outings he's put up a goal or an assist in four of them. You would take that everyday of the week from your fourth midfielder. Crystal Palace away on Saturday and they don't have a defence that will scare anyone. I'm surprised he's only been selected by 6% of teams.
Over 3.5 goals is currently trading at 3.50 in the Crystal Palace v Stoke match on the Exchange
Ashley Young - £4.9m. Had you told me at the start of the season that Ashley Young was ever going to feature in a fantasy football column, I'd have been rather perplexed. Yet he's become a mainstay of the Manchester United team and has taken over some of the set piece duties. If you are scrambling for a good fifth midfielder then he's one to look at. Brighton at home on Saturday is a good spot to pick him up.

Andre Gray - £6.3m. Doubling down on him after I wrote about the Watford man last week. Back-to-back assists and good performances leads to believe his season breakthrough is just around the corner. Newcastle away is the type of game Marco Silva's men should be looking at winning.

Mesut Özil - £9.3m. If Arsene Wenger carries on with a front three of Alexis, Lacazette and Ozil then good times will surely follow. The German is the cheapest and most intelligent of the bunch. Put him around players who are on his level and he'll create chances. Burnley away on Sunday is a good test as to whether he's back to that elite form but he's had an assist in three of his past four.

Two to avoid

Romelu Lukaku - £11.5m. He has been selected by 48% of teams but I'm thinking that it is time to jump off this bandwagon. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic back in town, I'm expecting to see the Swede get some minutes under his belt and limit Lukaku's time in the number nine position. Still a decent play but maybe you can get some better value elsewhere.

Chelsea Defenders - Various. This has more to do with my opinion on Liverpool's attacking options than it does Chelsea's back line. They do have an easy run coming up so you might just move any players to the bench this weekend. For the visit of Mane, Salah, Coutinho and Firmino though, I am not banking on any clean sheets.

Captain's pick

Spurs are the most obvious play for your fantasy captain this week with a Tony Pulis-less West Brom coming into town. Harry Kane is a prime candidate to take your armband. Elsewhere Manchester City travel to Huddersfield and if you can pick the right striker (Aguero or Jesus) then they could run riot. Picking Kevin De Bruyne might be a safer play.
Any Other Home Win is currently trading at 3.45 in the Spurs v West Brom match on the Exchange
