Hoffenheim and Shakhtar battle for first win

Two teams without a win in this season's Champions League meet when Hoffenheim host Shakhtar.
Despite their lack of victories, it is still possible for both sides to make the last-16 of the competition, but neither can afford a defeat. It is Hoffenheim who are currently in a superior position in third place, a point ahead of Shakhtar, having drawn three of their four games.
It's been an entertaining campaign for Hoffenheim fans, but the team have frustrated by failing to convert opportunities into points. Hoffenheim have found the net in all four of their Champions League matches, but their lack of defensive resolve was on show at the weekend in a 3-3 draw at Hertha Berlin, in which they twice let a two goal lead slip.
Shakhtar must pick themselves up from suffering back-to-back thrashings by Manchester City, which came to an aggregate score of 9-0. The good news is that they don't have to play City again and if they can win their remaining games against Hoffenheim and Lyon - both of whom they have drawn 2-2 against - then they can still progress.

Croatian can continue scoring streak

With both teams needing to win and with far from reliable defences, a game with plenty of goals is easier to predict than the result.
Unsurprisingly there is not much value to be found in the goals markets in a match between two teams who shared four goals in the reverse fixture, but there is an opportunity when it comes to predicting an individual scorer.
Andrej Kramaric is in superb form right now, finding the net in each of Hoffenheim's last three games and also scoring in Croatia's two most recent internationals. With Kramaric on such a hot streak, odds of 2.50 for him to to add to his tally should be snapped up.
