Spurs on a high

Spurs are flying high in the Premier League but have stumbled on occasion this season, mostly in this competition.
Just four points from four games in Group B - all secured in the back-to-back games with group makeweights PSV - leaves a simple equation to begin with at least.
Quite simply, they have to beat Inter to stay alive in the group and that's when they can work out how to get something from the Barcelona game.
Tottenham had previously lost to Barca, Man City and Liverpool at Wembley but silenced accusations that they couldn't do it against the big teams with a convincing 3-1 win over Chelsea on Saturday.
It was their best performance of the season, the scoreline flattered Chelsea and another big game with the stakes so high is the ideal way to ride the wave.
Head-to-head history is in Tottenham's favour too. They've won both of their home matches against Inter, 3-1 in the 2010-11 Champions League and 3-0 in the 2012-13 Europa League.

Inter hoping to complete job

The fate of this group is yet to be decided but history may show the crucial moments came in the dying stages of the first meeting between Inter and Spurs.
Tottenham led via Christian Eriksen's 53rd-minute opener and were still in front with the clock approaching the final five minutes before Inter equalised and then delivered theknockout blow in added time.
That ignited a seven-game winning streak for the Nerazzurri, a run ended with a 2-0 loss in the Nou camp.
Another late goal gave them a vital 1-1 home draw with Barca in the San Siro although they followed that with a heavy 4-1 away defeat to Atalanta to expose some vulnerabilities which won't have gone unnoticed.
A 3-0 win over Frosinone on Saturday when many of the big names were rested means they go into this one sat third in Serie A, just a point off second.

Spurs warm favourites

Spurs are only still alive in this tournament after two late Harry Kane goals at home to PSV last time.
That's the middle result in a five-game winning sequence and they've scored 12 times in that run.
Tottenham, who won all three home stages in the group phase last year (Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and APOEL), are 1.82 to get the win they need while Inter are 4.80.
The Draw, which would be enough for Inter to book a last 16 spot, is 4.00.
A big feature of their win over Chelsea was how fast Spurs came out of the blocks.
I'm expecting something similar from the hosts on Wednesday. Hit Inter early and put the game out of sight.
Therefore it looks a decent option to bump the basic win price up to something higher by taking Tottenham/Tottenham Half Time/Full Time at 17/10.

Spurs pair look ripe for Same Game Multi

Harry Kane is on yet another of his runs after five goals in the last five but 8/13 for an anytime goal is certainly short.
However, heading to the Same Game Multi market allows us to back Kane to score in a Spurs win at 2.48 (6/4) and, as obvious as that looks, it's a very legitimate play.
It landed against Chelsea. It landed for England against Croatia. And it landed in the PSV game.
That's three-out-of-three for this bet at Wembley in November so getting just under 6/4 seems reasonable.
Son Heung-Min could have filled his boots against Chelsea and did finally get on the scoresheet after the break with a superb solo goal.
He was a frequent Wembley scorer for Tottenham last season, netting 14 times, so I'll also play him in the Same Game Multi.
The Korean netted in three of the hosts' four Champions League home games last season, so back Son to score in a Spurs win at 3.48.
Any pro Inter bets really need to focus on Mauro Icardi.
The striker has registered in five of his last six matches in Europe and has three goals in his last four Champions League ties.

Latest form? The Argentine has banged in 10 goals in his last 11 games for Inter and is 5/4 for another at Wembley.

Opta stat

Harry Kane has scored 13 goals and assisted a further two in his 14 Champions League appearances. He's scored 26% of Tottenham's total goals in the competition (13/50).
RECOMMENDED BETS
1.5pts Harry Kane to score and Tottenham to win at around 6/4 (Sportsbook)
1pt Son Heung-Min to score and Tottenham to win at around 5/2 (Sportsbook)
