What To Expect

Adelaide is under the pump to get a strong side together before their round one clash against GWS. Rory Sloane hasn’t played a pre-season match with a fractured eye socket, while we also have not seen Brad Crouch, Scott Thompson or Jake Lever who are all battling niggles. With Cam Ellis Yolmen out for the season with an ACL, the Crows have named debutant Jordan Gallucci to see if he can fit right in to their midfield mix. Geelong have named captain Joel Selwood for his first hit out of 2017 as they look to get their preparations in place for a trip to Fremantle in round 1. The Cats went down to Hawthorn by 4 points in the first week of pre-season and will be out to get their first win on the board. With a stronger midfield lead by Dangerfield and Selwood, the Wolf can see the Cats pinching this one on the road.
