Real Madrid v Sevilla

It's almost judgement hour at the top of the table: with just two weekends of the season remaining, the title race is very much still in the balance. Real Madrid at least know that their fate is in their own hands, with their long-awaited game in hand finally coming up in midweek against Celta Vigo. Seven points from three matches would do it, no matter how Barcelona fare.

With the Champions League on the back burner for now, they should be at full force back at the Bernabéu on Sunday night. The defeat to Atlético Madrid was no doubt draining - mentally as much as physically - but Zinedine Zidane has given his key players plenty of rest in the league over the last couple of months, so fatigue should not be too much of a factor.

This is a great time to play Sevilla, whose form has tailed off markedly since the start of March. They've won just three of their last twelve matches and have been especially underwhelming on the road: firing three blanks in their last six away matches. The absence of suspended dead-ball wizard Pablo Sarabia, who scored in the draw with Real Sociedad last week, won't help their cause.

Sevilla have lost on their last seven trips to the Bernabéu and don't look likely to end that run here. But with Madrid as short as 1.22 outright and Cristiano Ronaldo just 1.23 to notch against his favourite opponents (he has scored 23 times against the Andalusians), the Asian handicap looks the way to go.

Las Palmas v Barcelona

They are not masters of their own destiny, but Barcelona will be keen to finish the season with a pair of wins to keep the pressure up until the last moment. The Catalans have certainly been upholding their side of the deal over the last month or so: five league wins in a row represents their second-best run of the season and performances have picked markedly.

Villarreal, Espanyol and Osasuna have all been swatted aside in imperious fashion, and there is an excellent chance that Barça will make light work of Las Palmas this weekend. Quique Setién's side have gone three games without scoring and have slumped to 14th in the table - a deeply disappointing end to the season for a team that delighted fans and neutrals alike for much of the campaign.

Barça have won the last three meetings between the sides and are in ruthless attacking form: they've scored 20 goals in their last five games. The Canary Islanders have conceded 43 times in their last 19 Liga matches and that fragility was cruelly exposed by Atlético Madrid in a 5-0 home reversal a fortnight ago. This one could very easily go the same way.

Real Sociedad v Málaga

For our final pick, we head to San Sebastián, where Málaga look to have been a touch underrated by the market. Los Boquerones are trading at 6.00 to overcome Real Sociedad, which looks off considering their recent form.

Make no mistake: Málaga were terrible for long stretches of the season. They had an 11-game winless run either side of the new year and were repeatedly punished for their defensive naivety. But they have tightened up a great deal since the start of April, keeping five clean sheets in their last seven.

At the other end, the return of Sandro Ramírez from has given them a massive boost. The former Barcelona striker has been on fire, scoring seven in seven, including winners against Sporting Gijón and Granada. The 21-year-old is attracting plenty of interest and could well bag himself a big-money move this summer.

La Real will be no pushovers and have plenty to play for as they battle for a Europa League spot. But they have lacked consistency and recent wins - against Deportivo La Coruña, Valencia and Granada - have been scrappy. The absence of David Zurutuza cancels out that of Málaga's Ignacio Camacho (both are suspended) and there's every chance the visitors - and Sandro in particular - can make a game of this.
