A good week got a whole lot better in Luxembourg last night, as Fola Esch's 2-1 home defeat to Ostersunds gave us another chunky winner. Who says Luxembourg is boring?
We move to Denmark tonight, as the embryonic Superliga season moves into its fourth round of fixtures. Horsens are facing Silkeborg, and the Match Odds market is almost split down the middle.
Horsens have won two of their three fixtures, and in their only home game, they stuffed Lyngby 4-1. Stretching back into last season, they are chasing a third straight victory at the CASA Arena.
Silkeborg have already lost their first two away matches at Lyngby and Midtjylland, and their away form has been poor for a while. They have lost six of their last ten away matches in the Superliga, and have only won three of their last 25 road games in the top flight. That poor form contributed to a nervewracking season last term, as SIF needed to win their relegation playoff to survive the drop.
Horsens are third in the table this season, but also had to come through last term's relegation playoffs. They seem to be in much better shape this time around, and given Silkeborg's atrocious away form, I'm backing the hosts.
