Marco Silva's position as Everton manager has been called into question in recent weeks and given their relatively easy start to the season, a Premier League position of 16th after ten games is a poor return on a major investment in playing staff.

Still, there are reasons to consider backing the Toffees this weekend. Tottenham have one win from their last five and questions have been raised about manager Mauricio Pochettino's future and the motivations of some key members of the squad.

Under Silva, Everton have a good record against top six sides. In the closing weeks of last season, they beat Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, and drew with Tottenham and Liverpool. I expect them to raise their game again on Sunday.

Bet 2: Back Exeter Chiefs to beat Worcester at 3/10

Worcester have good home record in the Gallagher Premiership, but I can't see them keeping out last year's table-topping Exeter Chiefs on Sunday.

The Warriors have only lost once at home in this competition in 2019, but that defeat came against the Chiefs in March. Although Exeter were beaten narrowly by Bath last weekend, they kicked off their campaign with an impressive win against Harlequins, and they have strength in depth in every department.

Exeter also have a great record against these opponents, having only lost once in their last 14 meetings in the Premiership. Back the visitors to win this one.

Bet 3: Back New York Jets to beat Miami Dolphins at 4/7

Has there ever been a worse NFL team than the 2019 Miami Dolphins? The jury may be out on that, but they are indisputably the worst franchise in the league this season, and they will give the mediocre New York Jets a good opportunity for a rare win.

The Jets are not a good team. They don't have a 1-6 record for no reason. But that win came against the highly fancied (at the time) Dallas Cowboys in Week Six, and they should have beaten the Buffalo Bills in their opening game, so they are capable of picking up the odd victory here and there.

The return of Sam Darnold, one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the NFL, makes the Jets stronger, and they have a solid defence, as well as one of the game's top running backs in Le'Veon Bell. Back them to beat their AFC rivals on Sunday.
