Aalesunds v Molde
Saturday July 08, 17:00

I once knew a tipster called Kevin.
He backed Limerick and they did his head in.
To his total dismay,
they lost at Galway.

Now he's feeling a bit of a cretin.

A disappointing result last night, and a worse limerick to compound it, but at least we're still in profit for the week. Tonight we turn our attention back to Norway, because Aalesunds are facing Molde in the top-flight Tippeligaen.

With half the season gone, both teams are on the fringes of the title race, but are struggling to string wins together. Molde haven't managed back-to-back wins in the league since April, while Aalesunds haven't won two games in a row since May, and they have only collected five points from their last five matches.

While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Molde (if you didn't know, the headline refers to Solskjaer's old nickname) tend to score and concede plenty of goals, there are reason to think this may be a tight and defensively-minded affair. Firstly, across the three league games these sides have played against each other since the start of last year, there have been just four goals. None of those matches saw both teams find the net.

Also, it's worth considering that only three of Aalesunds' last eight matches in all competitions have seen both teams score, and if you stretch back further you see that a BTTS wager has paid out in just four of their last 11 outings.

Given the recent history between the sides, and the circumspect nature of some of Aalesunds' recent performances, I think 2.42 is too big a price for backing "No" in the BTTS market.

Recommended Bet
Back No in the Both Teams To Score market at 2.42
