Tigre v Quilmes
Monday August 3, 22:00 BST
The hosts are enjoying a decent campaign as with just three defeats from 18 outings, only a handful of teams have lost fewer. They have had their fair share of draws though and that is why they aren't higher in the table than they are.
Tonight they welcome Quilmes to Coloso de Victoria with the visitors on a high following back to back successes over Racing Club and Independiente. Those two are among the best teams in the division and while The Brewers did have home advantage, their results on the road haven't been too bad either.
New man in charge, Facundo Sava, still boasts a 100% record thanks to those two victories and he will be confident of continuing his unbeaten streak in his first away match at the helm. His players have avoided defeat in five of their eight on their travels this term and they are showing improvement under his stewardship.
Obviously Tigre will be no pushovers and their home record is excellent in the main, but it is worth noting that they were held to 0-0 draws in their last two games in front of their own fans.
Quilmes haven't lost any of their last five meetings against Tigre and I don't expect them to do so tonight. Which is why, at around the 1.90 mark, I have to make Tigre my lay of the day.
