Canterbury forward Greg Eastwood will face the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night in a bid to beat a "leg twist" charge and play in the Bulldogs' round 22 clash with Brisbane.
The Kiwi international has pleaded not guilty to the charge and faces a one-match ban if his trip to the judiciary is unsuccessful.
Eastwood would have also received a one-match ban if he had taken the early guilty plea, but he risks being left with 93 carryover points if found guilty as opposed to the 63 he would have copped with an early guilty plea.
An early guilty plea normally carries a penalty of 90 points, but Eastwood's 63 carryover points will push him over the 100-point one-game threshold.
Canberra's Edrick Lee is the only player thus far who has been suspended as a result of charges from round 21.
The Raiders' three-quarter took the early guilty plea on a grade two tripping charge on North Queensland's Julian O'Neill and will miss Monday's clash with Wests Tigers in the nation's capital.
