MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly already made TWO mega-money offers to land Gareth Bale this summer.
The Real Madrid superstar has been on boss Louis van Gaal's radar in recent weeks, as his search for big name signings goes on.
Now, according to The Sun, Van Gaal and the United chiefs have tabled a pair of bids in excess of £100m to lure the winger to Old Trafford.
Van Gaal is known to have funds at his disposal this summer and is a huge fan of Bale but will have to go even higher if any move for the 26-year-old is to materialise.
The Dutch boss recently stated his desire to bring a world 'superstar' into his ranks but has failed in his pursuit of Welsh wonder thus far.
New Real boss Rafa Benitez recently warned United off any potential deals for his biggest stars with Bale being chief among which.
The former Liverpool manager said: "Gareth is a huge player for us and I know that he's happy.
"I'm not going to talk about offers. Everything is well and he's going to have a good season with us I'm sure."
Bale moved from Tottenham to the Bernabeu for a world record fee in 2013.
