Sydney Roosters prop Kane Evans has not been charged by the NRL match review committee for his monster hit on Canterbury's Sam Kasiano on Friday.

Evans felled Kasiano with what appeared to be a shoulder charge late in the first half in the Roosters' dramatic win at Sydney's Olympic stadium.

The Roosters' interchange forward was put on report by referee Matt Cecchin over the incident which resulted in a number of players coming together for some push and shove, albeit while smiling.

But Evans has avoided sanction over the tackle, after it was not included on the match review committee's charge sheet for round 21 released on Monday.

The NRL banned the shoulder charge in November 2012.

Canberra Raiders outside back Edrick Lee was not as lucky as Evans.

He faces a one-game ban for tripping Justin O'Neill during North Queensland's win over the Raiders in Townsville on Saturday.

If Lee takes the early guilty plea or fights the grade-two charge at the judiciary on Wednesday and loses, he will miss Canberra's match against Wests Tigers in the nation's capital next Monday.

Bulldog Greg Eastwood also faces a one-match ban for a tackle on Roosters captain Mitchell Pearce.

The grade-one dangerous contact charge does not warrant a one-match suspension with an early plea, but Eastwood's carryover points will push him over the threshold whether he takes the early plea or fights the charge and loses.

That will sideline him for Canterbury's clash with Brisbane on Friday.

Tigers prop Keith Galloway, Raiders pivot Blake Austin, and St George Illawarra forward Leeson Ah Mau were also charged following round-21 incidents.

They can escape a suspension if they take an early guilty plea.
