So, after 15 weeks of hard fought competition, we have our four finalists who'll be battling it out at the O2 in London.

Final league position in brackets, and prices to win the Premier League on the Betfair Sportsbook are below;

(1) Michael Van Gerwen 4/6 v 11/2 Gary Anderson (4)
(2) Peter Wright 4/1 v 9/1 Phil Taylor (3)

Right, I'll let you know exactly where I stand here. I'm finding Gary impossible to work out right now.

Over the Premier League, the league phase, Gary was sometimes stunning, sometimes indifferent. One week he beat Adrian Lewis with the help of a 77% finishing ratio, the very next week he played Adrian again and lost 7-3 with finishing stats of just 14%. 107 average one week, 95 the next.

These two dynamic darters have met each other 11 times in the last calendar year, the bragging rights go to Michael, he's beaten Gary seven times in that period.

This is a tentative pick because I (we) know how good Gary can be and this selection is based on Van Gerwen playing to his usual 105 average. But to have that, Michael, the reigning Premier League and World Champ will have to improve his recent double hitting. While it hasn't been poor, it's not been to his normal high standard.

Michael has made the final for the last four years, and I expect him to make it five in a row by recording a relatively comfortable victory.

Also, I like the 10/1 for Michael to hit a 170 finish, he leaves it more than any other player in the Premier League.

For the record I think the winner of this match will go on and win the title.

Peter Wright v Phil Taylor

I'd love to see The Power lift the trophy at the end of the night, I just don't think he will.

What a way to end his last ever Premier League tilt. Phil Taylor, the 56-year-old win machine has given himself a chance to end his career on a magnificent high.

He has won 16 world titles, but I believe this could be his biggest achievement of all.

He will be playing to the end of the year and then he'll hang up his arrers for good. Only playing the odd invitation event.

It's possible that the sport's most successful player could give his fans one last moment of joy.

To make the playoffs, Phil held it together late on, better than Raymond Van Barneveld and Adrian Lewis, while Peter Wright was always in a comfortable spot in the league.

Peter has proven time and again that to beat him you need to play well, and produce at the right time.

Like I've already stated, Phil held it together to pip Raymond and Adrian for a playoff spot, and in doing so also relegated Gary Anderson to fourth.

Taylor's performances have revolved around his double hitting. When his finishing stats are low he seldom gets the better of the big hitters, he just can't out-score them like he used to. And in Peter, it's unlikely Phil will be the more consistent.

Wright's rise up the ranking has been built on a game that is excellent in all departments. For Taylor to win I think he's going to have to play well at the right time. Timing is everything!
