Metz v Rennes (20th v 6th)

This game's an excellent opportunity to back one of Ligue 1's in-form teams at a big price against the division's weakest side.
Metz are rooted to the foot of the table having lost 14 of 16 games this season. Their change of manager six weeks ago has made no difference - fortunes have not improved since Frederic Hantz was appointed coach - and relegation now looks inevitable for the beleaguered Lorraine-based outfit.
Rennes have won six of their last seven matches and travel to Stade Saint-Symphorien brimming with confidence. They look focused, sharp and determined under new manager Sabri Lamouchi, who's settled quickly and spoken very well since taking the post last month.
Given these two sides' contrasting fortunes it's a surprise that Rennes are as big as 2.26 to collect all three points.

Amiens v Lyon (9th v 2nd)

Amiens have been one of Ligue 1's surprise packages this season but may come unstuck against Lyon on Sunday afternoon.
The Picardie-based hosts are in their first-ever Ligue 1 season and have done better than expected, climbing to a mid-table position despite being pre-season favourites for relegation. This game will be a test of character, however, after their impressive seven-game unbeaten run (W4-D3-L0) came to an end with a deserved 2-0 loss at Rennes last weekend.
Lyon lost 1-0 at Atalanta in the Europa League on Thursday night but their Ligue 1 away form has been excellent: the visitors are W5-D2-L1 on the road this season, and their sole defeat came at PSG.
Lyon are short odds to win. If, like us, you fancy them to collect all three points, they're worth considering on the handicap as they've frequently won away games by big margins this season (5-0 at Nice, 5-0 at St Etienne, 5-0 at Troyes).

Marseille v St Etienne (4th v 12th)
Sun, 20:00 GMT
Live on BT Sport Extra 2 and Betfair Live Video
St Etienne are in all sorts of trouble right now and Marseille look well-equipped to take full advantage at Stade Velodrome on Sunday night.
The visitors have failed to win any of their last seven Ligue 1 fixtures (W0-D3-L4) and their change of manager last month has made absolutely no difference to their form.
Julien Sable was promoted from the youth ranks to replace Oscar Garcia, who resigned, but in four games under Sable St Etienne have conceded eight goals and picked up just 2 points.
Marseille are unbeaten in 11 Ligue 1 fixtures (W7-D4-L0) and have picked up 10 points from their last four home games, keeping clean sheets on three occasions. They played at home in the Europa League on Thursday night so have had no travelling to contend with, and manager Rudi Garcia should have a full squad of players to pick from.
Anything other than a home victory would be a surprise given the way these two sides have played in recent weeks. Marseille are as short as 1.50 to win so we prefer the hosts on the Asian Handicap.
