Mixed fortunes for Tobias on his Spanish Super Sunday. Espanyol did him proud as they stuffed Deportivo La Coruna 4-1, but then Las Palmas went and lost 2-0 at home to Leganes. TG's off to the States for a few days, so I'll be in the chair for a bit longer than usual.
We'll start our week in the Swedish Allsvenskan, as the leaders Malmo take on Elfsborg.
Malmo are on course for a 23rd title, and their disappointment in Europe (they crashed out of the Champions League to Vardar Skopje) they have been able to fully focus on domestic matters. However, with the finish line in sight, Magnus Pehrsson's side have started to wobble a bit. They have only won one of their last five league games, and they have started to concede goals. In their last five Allsvanskan outings, they have leaked nine goals.
Elfsborg are reasonably safe in mid-table, although a late collapse could see them dragged into trouble. They have been a very entertaining watch this season, scoring 42 goals and conceding 38. That means their league games have featured an average of 3.33 goals.
I fancy goals here. Malmo have seen six of their last seven games in league and cup feature four goals or more, while Elfsborg have seen on Over 3.5 Goals bet land in five of their last eight outings.
Recommended Bet
