Must win for Roma in difficult group
Roma drew their opener against Atletico Madrid at home and with Chelsea also competing in Group C, the Italians simply must take maximum points from their games against Qarabag if they are to stand any chance of reaching the knockout stages.
It's an extremely tough draw for Eusebio Di Francesco's team, especially as Serie A has rediscovered its competitiveness. Roma have started the domestic season in good form, winning four of their five games, with their sole loss coming in a home match with Inter Milan.
After a summer in which Roma lost key players such as Antonio Rudiger, Mohamed Salah, Wojciech Szczesny and the talismanic Francesco Totti, the club may well be in a rebuilding stage where they are capable of beating most teams they face, but will fall short against the very best.
Qarabag do not fall into the latter category, as was proved quite conclusively by their 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea in the opening game. The Azerbaijani club look set to be the whipping boys in this group and it would be a major surprise if they won a single point against such esteemed company.

Roma to get off to another flying start
Roma's price to win the match at 1.47 is quite generous against a Qarabag side that are competing in the Champions League group stage for the first time.
The visitors have been leading at half-time in every one of their wins this season and can be backed at 2.24 to win half-time/full-time.
A slightly more lucrative option is the 2.50 on offer for Roma to win to nil. They have kept clean sheets in four of their seven games

Recommended Bet
Back Roma to win half-time/full-time at 2.24
