Neymar returns for hosts, Robben doubtful for visitors
Neymar returns after missing PSG's 0-0 draw at Montpellier at the weekend. With the Brazil international back in the team the hosts can field their strongest line-up.
For Bayern Munich, Arjen Robben is doubtful with an ankle injury. James Rodriguez may start in his place. Frenchmen Kingsley Coman and Franck Ribery are competing for a place on the opposite flank.

Trouble in home camp hands Bayern an edge
Paris St-G 2.04, Bayern Munich 3.75, The Draw 4.00
At first glance PSG's price of 2.04 makes sense given how much quality they have in the side. After all, the club from the French capital have assembled the most expensive forward line in history in the form of Neymar, Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe.
Yet PSG go into this game on the back of the trickiest week of their season to date. There has been an almighty fall-out over an on-pitch argument between Neymar and Cavani about who should take the penalties, and the saga has dragged on and on. Comment and counter-comment via the media haven't helped, and it's fair to say PSG's handling of the spat could have been better. So the mood in the PSG camp heading into the game is uncertain.
Bayern Munich's less-than-perfect start to the Bundesliga season (W4-D1-L1) suggests weakness in the opposition camp but Carlo Ancelotti's players have vast European experience and ran out convincing 3-0 winners over Anderlecht on Matchday One. With tensions undermining PSG's chances, a lay of the hosts is the smart option.

Strong defensive records could be key
Under 3.5 Goals 1.86, Over 3.5 Goals 2.10
There's so much attacking talent on display here it's not surprising we find Under/Overs 3.5 Goals, rather than Under/Overs 2.5 Goals, is close to the evens mark. PSG's brilliant aforementioned attacking trio plus Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski should all start, with the able supporting cast featuring midfielders that have an eye for goal, such as Corentin Tolisso and Adrien Rabiot.
Yet both sides have defended well this season, and that's a factor that needs to be taken into account. PSG have kept clean sheets in six of their nine matches in all competitions to date, and Bayern have done the same in five of their nine fixtures as well.
Obviously both clubs are yet to face attacks of the calibre that they will on Wednesday night, but the two sides' excellent defensive records suggest that this game might not turn out to be the goal-fest the market expects it to be.

Late burst of goals the smart selection
One pattern that has appeared in PSG's matches this season is that their second-halves have been far higher-scoring than their first-halves.
In total, PSG have scored 21 of their 28 goals (75%) in all competitions in the second-half of matches this season. Seven of their nine matches have had more goals in the second-half of games than in the first, including their 5-0 win at Celtic on Matchday One (two goals were scored in the first-half, three in the second).
