QPR short in defence

Luke Freeman's thunderous late equaliser gave QPR a share of the spoils from Tuesday night's trip to Barnsley. The R's struggled in the final third for much of the contest, fielding Jamie Mackie as a lone striker in the first half before Ian Holloway made positive changes at the interval.
It was the second successive encounter in which Holloway has raided the bench at the break as Rangers' winless run extended to four fixtures. But with a minor defensive injury crisis in the squad, the Hoops boss was pleased with the returning Steven Caulker in central defence.
Caulker played an hour at Oakwell and could be in contention to keep his place should be show no ill effects before Friday night's clash at Loftus Road. Elsewhere, fellow defenders Nedum Onouha, Grant Hall and James Perch remain sidelined for the hosts.

Fulham starting to fire?

Fulham may have hit the woodwork and picked up a morale-boosting 3-1 success at Nottingham Forest in midweek but the Cottagers weren't at their best at the City Ground, particularly in the first 45 minutes.
Nevertheless, Slavisa Jokanovic's charges withstood plenty of pressure and a sublime free-kick from Stefan Johansen and a Neeskens Kebano goal ensured only a third Championship success of the season following Aboubakar Kamara's opener.
Captain Tom Cairney remains a fitness doubt whilst Yohan Mollo and Kebano could be given starts following impressive cameos off the bench on Tuesday night. Sheyi Ojo and Ryan Sessegnon's places are under threat.

Favourites Fulham may take time to seal the deal

QPR 3.40 have collected 11 of their 13-point haul at Loftus Road (W3-D2-L0) this term but were unable to break down an organised Burton defence in their last encounter here and were out-played by Millwall before a red card changed the complexion of their previous London derby.
The home side have played out three draws in their last four and with Fulham following suit in half of their 10 outings thus far, the stalemate could be worth considering at 3.55.
The Cottagers 2.28 will fancy their chances with the R's falling to eight losses in their last 10 against top-half teams but failure to overcome both Burton and Reading on their travels, plus the absence of Cairney, make their Match Odds a little unappealing.
Instead, back Draw/Fulham at 6.00. The Whites have only trailed at the break twice on their travels since the start of last season and have already been level at the interval in four of their five away days. This Half-Time/Full-Time angle has copped in 6/28 (21%) away games, implying odds of 4.67.

Both Teams To Score a banker

Both Teams To Score may seem skinny at 8/13 quotes but it looks like NAP material. The selection has now paid out in six of QPR's past seven matches, as well as 13 of their previous 16 games at Loftus Road.
The Hoops have recorded only five clean sheets in 41 Championship outings so Fulham should have few problems grabbing a goal of their own. The Cottagers have recorded BTTS winners in each of their last five, plus seven of their previous nine games as guests.
