Pressure on both teams in real group of death

When the Champions League groups were drawn, the attention may have gone to the mini-leagues which pitched some of Europe's bigger clubs against one another, but it was Group G that brought together four teams that were the most closely matched in ability.

Both Monaco and Porto got off to a poor start in what is the only group in which every club can realistically aim for qualification to the knockout stages. Last season's semi-finalists Monaco picked up a decent point away at RB Leipzig, but would have been concerned by their performance after being dominated by the Germans.

It was always going to be a challenging season for Leonardo Jardim's team after losing several of their best players over the summer, but they are doing pretty well in their defence of their Ligue 1 title. Monaco have bounced back from their recent thrashing by Nice to win their last two games and are now only a point behind PSG.

Porto are also doing well domestically winning all seven of their Primeira Liga games, but they will be under pressure on Tuesday night. Having lost their opening game at home to Besiktas, they simply must avoid defeat when they travel to Monaco.

Back Falcao to continue run

This is a tough one to predict, with Monaco looking for a win against a Porto side that need to bounce back with at least a point.

With the result in doubt, a more certain opportunity may come in the goalscorer markets. Radamel Falcao scored twice at the weekend against Lille to take his tally to eleven goals in just seven games.

The Colombian is clearly in deadly form and with seven goals from his ten Champions League games last season, there's no reason why he shouldn't continue his scoring run in Europe. Odds of 1.97 to find the net look good value, but take a chance on him being the first goalscorer at 4.10.

Recommended Bet
Back Falcao to score the first goal at 4.10
