It's too early for Hawthorn to put the champagne on ice in expectation of a hat-trick of premierships, coach Alastair Clarkson insisted after his side racked up another significant victory.
The Hawks thrashed Sydney by 89 points, a week after their 72-point win over ladder leaders Fremantle.
It means Clarkson's side have won seven in a row, and are now up to third on the ladder.
Hawthorn are 2.20 to win the Grand Final.
The coach concedes the momentum, and particularly the last two wins - against a Dockers side who had previously won 12 of their 13 games and the Swans who reached the Grand Final last year - have increased the pressure on his team.
But he said: "I'd like to think our players and our club are level-headed enough to be able to cope with that.
"You don't win Grand Finals in July. We've got to be playing our best footy in September, but we're pleased that over the last couple of weeks we've been able to account for two really, really strong opponents, who we've got enormous regard for."
Clarkson added: "Our goal at the start of the year was to finish in the top four and we're just happy that we're adding up the wins and hopefully get ourselves in a good position by round 23 to have a good shot at it."
The Hawks, who have scored 100 or more points in 10 of their 15 games, saw Jarryd Roughead boost their firepower on his return to action.
The forward booted five goals in his first match back following a cancer scare.
Sydney's Lance Franklin kicked his 700th goal against his former teammates - the second of his three majors in as many minutes in the second quarter - but the Swans never reduced the gap below 18 points.
Hawthorn are 1.91 conceding a 68.5-points start in their next game against Carlton.
