It's fair to say this tour hasn't gone quite as well as expected so far. Defeats to the Blues and the Highlanders in warm up games weren't part of the plan, and a first test defeat to the All Blacks has put the British & Irish Lions firmly on the back foot.
Warren Gatland has been depicted as a clown, and that was before he refused to make any tactical substitutions in seeing his side throw away a 14-point lead against the Hurricanes in midweek.
But when their backs are against the wall this Lions team can roar... we hope! With two tests remaining the British & Irish Lions aren't quite dead and buried just yet, and they can be backed at 17.50 to win the series.
They'll need to beat the All Blacks in Wellington on Saturday of course, for which they can be backed at 6.20 to do so. New Zealand are strong favourites at 1.22 to win the second test, and if you think they'll do that and go on to win the third test a week later, then backing them to win the series 3-0 at 1.44 is your way to play.
Tour de France

We're off to Germany on Saturday for the start of the 104th edition of the Tour de France - don't ask! - where Britain's Chris Froome will be setting off on his journey to win his third consecutive tour, and his fourth in total following victories in 2013, 2015, and 2016.
Froome is the 2.62 favourite in the Winner market, just ahead of his former Team Sky teammate Richie Porte at 3.65. Jack Houghton has already previewed the main event, and he's also looked at some of the other markets too, while during the 21-stage tour he will be providing daily previews here on betting.betfair.

For lots of sports fans, the summers months between football seasons means cricket, and if that's the case with you then you've get plenty of betting opportunities in July.
This coming Saturday sees the final of the Royal London One Day Cup between Nottinghamshire and Surrey, and the Exchange market can barely split them, with Notts currently trading at 1.98 in the Winner market, and Surrey at 2.00.
We then move to the International scene with England hosting a four-match Test Series against South Africa. We'll have Series betting and an outright preview from Ed Hawkins closer to the time, but the first test from Lords is already priced up on the Sportsbook, with England favourites at 4/7, South Africa available to back at 5/2, and the Draw at 4/1.
And if gruelling five-day cricket isn't your cup of tea then commencing on Friday 7 July is the Natwest T20 Blast, with 18 first-class county teams aiming to be kings of the hugely entertaining shortest format of the game.

We're off to SW19 on Monday for one of the highlights of the tennis calendar as Andy Murray sets out on his bid to become a three-time Wimbledon champion.
World number one Murray has been suffering from injuries and some poor form in 2017 however, and just last week was knocked out in the first round at Queens. He heads to Wimbledon as the second favourite to win the Men's Singles at 5.80, with veteran superstar Roger Federer - aiming to win his eighth title - the current favourite at 3.50.
The Women's Singles looks a wide open heat with defending champion Serena Williams taking time out to start a family. Petra Kvitova, who only this year returned to the game following a knife attack, is just shading favouritism at 6.20, ahead of her Czech Republic compatriot Karolina Pliskova at 6.40.
Britain's Johanna Konta is regarded as a lively outsider at 21.00, and our tennis expert Dan Weston - who recently reeled off 12 consecutive winners at the French Open - will be here with his pre-tournament thoughts and daily tips for both tournaments.

The Winner market has plenty of liquidity and sees world number one Dustin Johnson as the 11.00 favourite currently, ahead of McIlroy at 13.00, and recent winner Jordan Spieth at 14.00.

Racing from Newmarket
Thursday 13 July - Saturday 15 July: Newmarket July Festival
Following on from last week's superb Royal Ascot meeting we move to racing's headquarters at Newmarket in the middle of the month for the traditional and top class July Festival.
A host of winners from Royal Ascot will be in attendance including Gold Cup winner Big Orange, who will be bidding to win the Prince of Wales Stakes for the third year in succession.
The 1m Group 1 Falmouth Stakes is the highlight of the day on the Friday, while Saturday plays host to the race of the meeting, the July Cup, where the unbeaten Commonwealth Cup victor Caravaggio - currently trading at 2.42 - will hopefully renew rivalry with Harry Angel, 9.20, and last week's Golden Jubilee winner The Tin Man, 9.40.
