Eintracht Braunschweig v Dynamo Dresden

If we squint, we can see a speck in the sky. That's our pal Tobias flying away from us, after his Osasuna's 2-1 victory over Leganes last night gave him yet another winner. Chapeau.

We're not even halfway through the year though, so there's time to turn things around. We start the week in Germany, seeing as I had a sun-soaked weekend in Bavaria enjoying Der Klassiker. We'll take in a promotion battle from the second tier this evening, as Eintracht Braunschweig take on Dynamo Dresden.

It's no surprise to see Stuttgart and Hannover battling for an instant return to the Bundesliga, but given their resources, the Lions of Braunschweig are doing superbly. Hugely popular coach Torsten Lieberknecht took the club into the Bundesliga in 2013, and now he is challenging to do so again, with the Lower Saxony team third in the standings. A win against Dynamo Dresden tonight would take them joint-top with six games to go.

Dynamo Dresden are fifth, incredible when you think they were only promoted from the third tier at the end of last season. A run of four wins and two draws has catapulted the East German club up the standings, and coach Uwe Neuhaus is doing a sterling job.

I quite fancy both teams to find the net here, and there's evidence to support that theory. Both teams have found the net in Braunschweig's last seven home matches in the league, while five of Dresden's last seven games overall have seen both teams score, including recent 3-3 draws against Stuttgart and Kaiserslautern.
