Angers v PSG

Greater Manchester didn't seem so great last night, as Rochdale's 1-0 at Bury did us no favours. The finger is hovering over the "crisis klaxon" button, but we're not quite pressing it yet.

We're heading to France, as PSG look to put some pressure on Ligue 1 leaders Monaco with a Friday night win at Angers.

Angers are pretty decent at home, and gave Monaco a serious run for their money last weekend, before ultimately slipping to a 1-0 home defeat. They had won four of their previous five home games, and they have only been beaten four times at the Stade Raymond Kopa this season.

It's tempting to think that Angers will push PSG hard, but the champions have started to really sparkle away from home. Unai Emery's side have won their last six league games on the road, and four of those victories have been by a margin of two goals or more.

PSG were given a big confidence boost as they wiped the floor with Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue final, and in all competitions they have won five in a row since the Champions League debacle against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

With no Champions League quarter-final to prepare for, PSG can play their strongest team, and given their recent form I think they can send a message in the title race.
